While you are preparing for your Masters of Laws (LLM) Program at any Law School in the US, remember that the teaching and legal systems are different, especially for foreign-trained lawyers. The Socratic method is the adopted teaching method that involves calling on students randomly and interrogating them about the facts and decisions in various court cases. You need to be prepared ahead of each class which helps you to have a good understanding of the topic to be discussed.

Classroom credit courses: first-year required courses, upper-class courses, mini-courses/workshops, upper-class seminars, simulation courses,

Non- classroom credit: directed research, Law journals.

Other requirements: LLM students are required to take Introduction to American law and Introduction to Legal writing and research in the US
